So, we've taken it easy this week...gently working our way into Vancouver time and Western life. The main highlights? Enjoying food and drinks we guiltily dreamed of in Asia (nachos, steaks and caesars for Patrick, DECENT chocolate for me!). Discovering that sea-salt and dark chocolate is an incredible combination. Reveling in clean, fresh water FROM THE TAP (don't take it for granted, folks). Breathing in Vancouver's cool, crisp air until my lungs felt ready to burst. Strolling down peaceful White Rock Pier at sunset after Canadian-style fish-and-chips. Just soaking up Vancouver's beauty in the sunshine.
